By summer of 2025 I was still attending classes, but doing the majority of the glass cutting and grinding at home, which meant I could start trying out bigger projects. My sister and I go to Universal Studios at least once a year, and I made her this piece so that she could have a little reminder of our happy place year-round. The dragon at the park is primarily white and grey, but I found this crazy sparkly textured green glass at Fiscus Glassworks and decided to take some artistic license with coloring.  Painting the letters was a big challenge, and I do wish I had made him breathing fire, but otherwise I’m very pleased with this one!
